Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
Bending and shaping mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum etc to customer specific requirements
Carrying out tool changes between jobs
Measuring and checking dimensions
Produce quality parts in a timely fashion
Inspecting work for quality
Compliance with health & safety and relevant certification
Communicate effectively all issues affecting smooth daily operation
Required Experience
At least 3 years' experience of press brake operation
The ability to understand, interpret and work from drawings
Able to work off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
Attention to detail to ensure high quality output
An efficient approach to your work, applying lean principles where possible and to ensure deadlines are met
Understanding of accreditation and certification standards.
Effective clear communicator
Other tasks may be required
