Project Engineer - Manufacturing

This is a role working for leading international automotive supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality components and assemblies. They work on a global scale and partner with many high end OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.You will play a key role in the delivery of new product introduction projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget.We need a strong project engineer/manager who is confident managing projects from start through to completion. Also need you to be from a technical background as the projects you will be managing need you to be able to understand the requirements and hold credible conversations with customers. Key responsibilities:- Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved at every stage of the project lifecycle.- Lead project review meetings.- Liaise with internal teams and management.- Budget control.- Identify, escalate and resolve project risks.Required skills/experience:- Minimum of 2 years of working within projects focused positions- Manufacturing background- Degree within engineering would be highly desirable - Confident managing multiple projects - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsThis is a permanent opportunity working out of my clients facility in Northampton.
