Support Worker Temporary Ongoing Locations: Colchester, Frinton-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Braintree & Chelmsford £12.71 per hour Brighthire Recruitment is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our temporary team across Essex. We have ongoing work available supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Flexible Hours Available Looking for a few shifts alongside your studies or another job? Or are you looking for full-time hours? We can offer: Part-time hours Full-time hours Day shifts Night shifts Flexible working around your availability Ongoing temporary work About the Role You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible. Every day can be different, and you'll provide person-centred support based on each individual's needs. Your role may include: Supporting people with their daily routines and activities Promoting independence and helping with day-to-day tasks Supporting with personal care and manual handling when required Supporting people who may display challenging behaviour Following care plans and keeping records up to date Working as part of a team to provide consistent support Building positive and respectful relationships with the people you support What We're Looking For At least 6 months' UK care experience Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism Experience or confidence supporting challenging behaviour A calm, reliable and caring approach Good communication skills Must be 18+ Must have the right to work in the UK Skilled Worker visa holders welcome we can offer up to 20 hours per week. Visa switching is not available Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred, but we can support you to obtain a new DBS if needed Training & DBS Support We can support you with obtaining a new DBS if you don't have a current one on the Update Service. Training refreshers and updates can also be supported where needed.
