Security Service and Small Works Engineer

Location of works: Stockport

Salary Bracket: £40,000
On target earnings (OTE): £50,000+

Salary and Benefits

• Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
• Travel Time Paid: Door to Door Travel
• Annual Leave: 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Overtime: Monday‑Friday, standard rate; Saturday, time & half; Sunday, double time
• Vehicle: Van + personal use

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and commission Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service on‑site and over the phone
• Participate in the on‑call rota

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience commissioning and servicing Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems
• Ability to work independently across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, public, retail)
• Strong fault‑finding and system servicing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred)
• Must be eligible for enhanced security screening
• Experience working with Lenel, CCure, Gallagher and similar panels
• Desirable (not essential): Experience working with Kantech and CEM AC2000 systems
