Support Worker

Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services. You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.
Where youll be working:
Semington, Trowbridge
This service supports 3 ladies living with learning disabilities in a small village between Melksham and Trowbridge with great public transport links to the wider community. To live independently within their own home and community.
We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;
Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
