Shutdown Planner

• Produce investment cost estimates for offshore/onshore development projects during various project phases and as input into project plans and budgets
• Ensure accuracy of cost structures and cost estimates
• Validate estimates produced by contractors or third parties
• Gather and consolidate contributions from Professional Areas to ensure cost completeness for project economic evaluation
• Select, develop, and update appropriate methods and tools for executing and validating cost estimates
• Feed and update databases and perform cross-project analysis
• Prepare cost estimate breakdown structures
• Produce the best estimate allowed by available information
• Participate in and validate cost risk analysis
• Prepare project cost estimate supporting documentation
• Supply information to maintain the cost estimate database
• Develop and update procedures and tools
• Participate in cross-project analysis
• Transfer experience within the team

Requirements

• Technical Diploma
• Engineering Degree preferred
• Oil & Gas Industry experience, onshore and/or offshore
• Cost estimating experience
• Development Project Cost Estimation (CAPEX, OPEX, DECOMMISSIONING)
• Cost Estimation Benchmarking
• Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
• Effective use and implementation of SISTIP ERP system
• Project Closing Process: historical and lessons learned information collection and dissemination
• Specialist software training: Primavera basic and advanced, Que$tor, Palisade @Risk, Microsoft Project

Core Competencies
