Contract Manager

Overview:An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a specialist infrastructure team delivering technically complex projects, with a strong focus on EV charging infrastructure and secure public-sector sites.The Contracts Manager will oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of multiple projects, managing obligations, risks and delivery. The role would suit candidates from an M&E, electrical, infrastructure, construction or similar technical background. Some projects may require higher levels of security clearance.Key Responsibilities:Manage contractual aspects of projects from award through to completion.Review, negotiate and administer contracts and subcontracts.Ensure client, contractual and compliance requirements are met.Provide contractual support to Project Managers and delivery teams.Manage client, supplier and stakeholder relationships.Monitor variations, change control, claims, risks and contract performance.Maintain accurate contractual records and reporting.Report contractual risks, opportunities and financial performance to senior management.Support tenders, bids and framework opportunities.Ensure health, safety and compliance requirements are incorporated into projects.Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.Support continuous improvement across contract management and project delivery.Qualifications:Proven Contracts Manager or similar experience.Experience in M&E, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, construction, civil engineering or a related sector.Knowledge of NEC and other standard forms of contract.Relevant degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience.Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing contractual risks, variations and claims.Competent with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.SMSTS or equivalent desirable.Full UK driving licence.Ability to obtain required security clearance where necessary.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Generous holiday entitlement, increasing with length of service, with the option to purchase additional days.Comprehensive pension scheme and private medical scheme options for salaried employees.Employee Assistance Programme providing free 24/7 support.Access to a wide range of corporate discounts, including the Cycle to Work scheme.Apply today to join a growing infrastructure team and play a key role in delivering major EV and secure-site projects across the UK.
