Job Description

Year 4 Teaching Assistant - Fulwood, Preston

We are currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Fulwood, Preston.

Position Details

* Role: Year 4 Teaching Assistant

* Location: Fulwood, Preston

* Start Date: November 2026 or ASAP

* Hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday

* Contract: Full-time until July 2026

* Pay: Starting from £14.25 per hour, paid weekly

* Term Time Only

The Role

The successful candidate will be confident in:

* Supporting pupils with English and Maths

* Providing targeted academic support and intervention

* Working closely with the class teacher to raise attainment

* Supporting learning, engagement, and progress within the classroom

* Working effectively with pupils across Key Stage 2

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

* Have experience supporting pupils across KS2 in a classroom setting

* Hold a childcare-related qualification

* Be confident supporting children in English and Maths

* Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

* Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
