Stonebridge Mortgage Solutions Ltd is growing — and we’re looking for a QA Engineer who’s passionate about delivering quality and eager to develop their automation skills.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Revolution cloud-based platform, collaborating closely with developers, stakeholders, and the wider QA team. You’ll be the voice of quality in your squad — making sure every release meets our high standards and delivers the best possible experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform manual testing to validate system functionality and user experience.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Conduct regression and end-to-end testing for deployment.
• Collaborate with developers and support teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Contribute to test automation using Playwright, Typescript.
• Attend regular stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions to ensure clear communication and coordination.
• Communicate testing progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.

Our ideal candidate

• Experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Good manual testing background; exposure to Playwright automation desirable.
• Experience using at least one test management tool (ideally Azure DevOps).
• SQL experience desirable for database validation.
• Clear communicator with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Confident in developing and maintaining detailed test cases and test plans.
• Able to meet pre‑employment screening requirements (right to work, DBS, credit checks, etc.).
