About the Role
Some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Client/network engagement: Relationship development/management
Quoting terms, and completing tenders/RFPs
Presenting terms
Binding coverage
London market Broking: Submission drafting
Face-to-face Lloyds Broking, and E-trading
Quoting and placing business within the London market including facilities.
Relationship development/management
General administration: File maintenance and management including marketing sheets
Document/MRC/MRCe review and completion
ECM/critical document/KPI management
The use of PPL and other London market / Aon proprietary systems
Processing/invoicing
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company
Skills and experience that will lead to success
An understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
Some technical insurance knowledge, preferably within Energy although individuals with experience across other lines of business will be considered
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
Good problem-solving skills;
Good level of numeracy;
Effective communication and presentation skills;
Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation;
Ability to work well as part of a team;
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
