Within the IT department, the Data Centre Network Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining and advancing network infrastructure. The engineer will also support regular operational activities such as monitoring, support, automation, and network optimization.
Responsibilities:
and secure the operation of data centers and server rooms.
and oversee data center management and monitoring systems.
with the Facilities and Infrastructure team to optimize energy efficiency.
technical guidance for infrastructure setups including power requirements and equipment installation.
on DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and cable management systems.
the data center network and collaborate with network team members.
systems daily, ensuring integrity and availability of hardware and server resources.
and resolve network issues, including off-hours support as needed.
continuous improvement in network service quality.
tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Key Experience and Competencies:
in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
