What Your Day Will Look Like

As our Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation, leading from the front and ensuring consistently high standards across breakfast and restaurant service. You’ll make sure every dish is prepared and presented to the standard our guests expect, while bringing fresh ideas and creativity to our menus.

You’ll lead, motivate and develop your kitchen brigade, creating a positive and organised working environment. You’ll also manage food costs, labour, purchasing, stock and waste, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and commercially.

Health & safety will be a key part of your role. You’ll ensure the kitchen maintains the highest standards of food hygiene, HACCP, allergen management, cleanliness and safe working practices, making sure all procedures and compliance requirements are followed by the team at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, leadership and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Previous experience as a Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef, preferably within a four-star hotel or similarly busy hospitality environment.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach and develop a kitchen team.

A passion for producing fresh, high-quality and beautifully presented food.

Experience managing breakfast and restaurant operations.

Strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, allergens and health & safety.

Commercial awareness, including food costing, stock control, purchasing, waste and labour management.

Confidence creating and developing menus.

Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Most importantly, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in their kitchen, supports their team and wants to make their mark on the food offering at DoubleTree by Hilton London Victoria.
