Job Description

Salary £45,000+ | Progression | 33 Days Annual Leave | Early Finish Fridays | Life Insurance

A Quality Engineer opportunity has arisen within a well-established precision manufacturing business supplying precision components into the global aerospace sector. Working closely with customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams, you'll manage non-conformances, maintain the Quality Management System, support New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive improvements in product and process quality.

Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

Maintaining and auditing the QMS in line with AS9100 and customer requirements.

Investigating non-conformances, customer returns and concessions through to resolution.

Supporting NPI through APQP, PPAP submissions, FMEAs and control plans.

Completing internal, supplier and special process audits, including NADCAP activities.

Liaising with customers, suppliers, production and inspection teams to resolve quality issues.

Monitoring quality performance and driving improvement through 8D, process capability analysis and corrective actions.

Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

Previous Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer or similar experience.

Experience within aerospace or precision manufacturing.

Internal auditing experience, ideally with AS9100 training or IATF 16949.

Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, control plans.
