Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team within a construction company. The role involves managing both purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, and general finance administration. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 5, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Day-to-day of the role: Handling purchase ledger and sales ledger activities.
Conducting credit control to ensure timely payments.
Performing general finance-related administrative tasks.
Resolving financial queries efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
Providing excellent customer service in all finance-related interactions.
Utilising Sage 50 and Construct systems for various accounting operations.
Collaborating with the finance team to support the Financial Controller.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in finance, particularly within purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
Strong understanding of general finance administration.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve queries effectively.
Proficiency in Sage 50 and Construct systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with the Financial Controller and other team members.
Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
