Learning Support Assistant
As a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant, you will have a significant impact on a student's education journey. You will work closely with an individual student, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important life skills. Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with a specific student/students, providing personalised learning support.
Assist with classroom activities and assignments to ensure the student's progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help the students build self-confidence and develop important social skills.
Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other support professionals.
Maintain regular communication to track and report on the student's progress.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed.
The ability to adapt to the unique needs of the individual student.
A commitment to long-term, permanent employment.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
