Software Developer (JAVA)
Software Engineer – Java / Cloud / Microservices
The Software Engineer will join a 7-member Agile Scrum team delivering innovative software for satellite and geospatial applications. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop high-quality, scalable Java software and microservices.
Design, implement and test new features.
Develop RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
Write unit and automated tests.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and task estimation.
Conduct code/design reviews and ensure coding, security and quality standards.
Contribute to CI/CD, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Essential Skills
Java 8+
Spring Boot / Spring Framework / Hibernate
RESTful APIs and HTTPS
Microservices and distributed systems
Cloud development
Unit and automated testing
Agile/Scrum
CI/CD and Git
Jira or similar
UML/SysML and Enterprise Architect or similar
Strong communication and teamwork skills
