Electronics Engineer

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000 dependent on experience

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team in Kempston.

You'll become part of a genuinely collaborative engineering environment where electronics, firmware and mechanical engineers work closely together every day. Engineers are encouraged and supported to share ideas, solve technical challenges as a team and take ownership throughout the full product development lifecycle.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll contribute to the design and development of innovative environmental monitoring products from concept through to production. You'll be involved in electronics design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, product improvement and supporting products through manufacture.

We're looking for experience in:

• PCB design and layout, including multi-layer PCBs
• Product development from concept through to production
• Prototyping, testing and debugging electronic circuits
• PCB layout with an awareness of signal integrity, low-noise design and EMC considerations
• Working collaboratively with firmware and mechanical engineers to develop complete products

Experience with mixed-signal PCB design or electronics used in sensing, measurement or instrumentation applications would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
