Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading research-focused university seeking an experienced  Executive Assistant  to provide high-level support to a Director and Senior Management Team during a period of transition.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment and is confident supporting senior stakeholders.

Contract Details

Temporary assignment of approximately 2 months

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Hybrid working model with 3 days per week in a Central London office

£23.70 per hour plus £4.42 holiday pay

Immediate availability or short notice preferred

Key Responsibilities

Managing complex and busy diaries

Providing proactive inbox management and correspondence support

Coordinating meetings and preparing briefing materials

Organising agendas, papers and follow-up actions for senior leadership meetings

Processing expenses and arranging domestic and international travel

Supporting events, visits and team activities

Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Contributing to efficient administrative processes and systems

About You

Applicants should demonstrate:

Proven experience providing Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant ideally within a higher education setting

Strong diary and inbox management experience

Experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders simultaneously

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills

Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities

Experience within a research, education or membership organisation, would be advantageous, but is not essential.
