Work pattern: up to 2 days a week in the office

My client, a leading insurance organisation, is seeking an experienced Lead M365 Engineer to play a key role in shaping and delivering their modern workplace strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant digital transformation, where you'll have the chance to influence the evolution of enterprise collaboration, end-user computing, and cloud technologies.

Working across a complex and evolving technology landscape, you will provide technical leadership and expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, driving innovation, operational excellence, and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong hands‑on expertise across Microsoft Exchange (Online and On‑Premises).

Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM, including both operational support and solution design.

Proven background in Windows Client Management, including large‑scale migrations and upgrades, particularly Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Experience implementing and administering Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

Deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, including:

Teams

SharePoint Online

OneDrive for Business

Microsoft Purview

Microsoft Security technologies

This role would suit a technically strong Microsoft specialist who enjoys leading from the front and wants to make a tangible impact within a business investing heavily in its technology estate.
