Job Description

Project Overview

  • Sonning, Reading, on the Great Western Main Line.
  • Embankment stabilisation project.
  • Approximately 3/4 years.
  • Start Date: ASAP (permanent role).
  • Project Value: Approximately £40 million.

About the Role

Taylor Woodrow is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on an Embankment stabilisation project in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise site operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
  • Monitor progress against project plans and report on performance.
  • Ensure works are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and promote a positive safety culture.

Person Specification

  • CSCS Gold Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Certification
  • COSS (Controller of Site Safety) ticket.
  • Proven experience supervising highways or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
