Construction Project Manager

As Construction Project Manager you will be responsible for the production, safety and quality of our exceptional builds. Variety is this role’s middle name.

Rate of Pay: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Expected Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Work location: Based at our Office in Ketton, Lincs and working. Sites are located within a 25‑mile radius

About the Role

As Project Manager you will be responsible for the production, safety and quality of our exceptional builds. Variety is this role’s middle name.

Responsibilities

• Manage site managers who will report to you.
• Manage and implement health and safety onsite, including updating CPPs, site audits, RAMS, temporary works, permits, etc.
• Ensure projects maintain optimum momentum whilst still upholding outstanding quality within budget.
• Produce construction programmes and manage using the programme.
• Produce internal and client progress reports.
• Communicate with clients and project agents.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure that they are meeting their obligations.
• Monitor project progress and problem‑solve.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and enforce re‑work if needed.
• Sourcing and procuring materials to contractors.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience of Project/Contracts Management within the construction industry.
• Previous experience of managing projects valuing £500k to £10m.
• Excellent communicator, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Effective subcontractor and supplier management skills.
• Demonstrable experience overseeing Health and Safety on‑site.

Qualifications

• Construction Management NVQ7 or equivalent experience.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, Scaffold Inspection and first aid certificates desirable.
• Full UK Driving License.

• Within commutable distance of Stamford, Lincs or willing to relocate.
