The Finance Analyst sits at the intersection of finance, data, and commercial operations. You will be reporting into and learning from the CFO - giving you brilliant exposure. Also working closely with an impressive Data Lead and collaborating across merchandising, e-commerce, operations and senior leadership.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
Produce regular financial and commercial performance reports.
Analyse sales, margins, profitability and operational KPIs across multiple sales channels.
Support monthly management reporting with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
Identify risks and opportunities through detailed financial modelling.
Develop and maintain dashboards.
Identifying trends in the data - issues with rents etc.
Analyse customer, product and sales data to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
Work with large datasets to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Analyse inventory performance, stock ageing and product profitability.
Support purchasing and merchandising teams with stock planning and demand forecasting.
Monitor pricing performance and promotional effectiveness.
Identify slow-moving stock and recommend actions to optimise inventory investment.
Collaborate with departments across the business to understand reporting requirements.
Present clear financial and operational insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Support commercial decision-making with robust data analysis.
Improve data quality and reporting consistency across systems.
Support the development of finance and reporting systems.
Help implement automation and process improvements using modern reporting tools.
