We are looking for a dedicated Female Support Worker to support a female client in the Nottingham (NG14) area. This is a rewarding role where you will help promote independence, build confidence and support our client to enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle with valid business insurance (or willing to get) are essential for this role.

Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to support our client in accessing the community, you must be able to drive and have appropriate business insurance in place.

About the Role

You will be providing person-centred support to a female client with epilepsy and mild learning disabilities, helping her to maintain her independence, confidence and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the client to access the community.
• Accompanying her on outings and activities.
• Helping her plan and structure her day.
• Supporting with daily living tasks, including cooking and domestic duties.
• Supporting social visits.
• Motivating and encouraging her to achieve personal goals.
• Promoting independence and building confidence.
• Maintaining accurate daily records.
• Providing consistent, patient and compassionate support.

Shift Pattern

MondayFriday: 09:3018:30
SaturdaySunday: 10:0016:30

Pay: £12.85 per hour

What Were Looking For

You will need to be:

• Caring, reliable and highly motivated.
• An excellent communicator with fluent English.
• Patient, empathetic and consistent in your approach.
• Confident supporting behaviours that may be challenging.
• Knowledgeable about Autism and physical disabilities.
• A full UK driving licence holder ESSENTIAL.
• Able to access your own vehicle ESSENTIAL.
• Able to provide valid business insurance for your vehicle ESSENTIAL.
• Eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship.
