Site Engineer - Skelmersdale

£41,500 per annum + excellent benefits

Permanent, Full-Time

Rotating Shifts - No Nights

We'recurrently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading global organisation within the automation and intralogistics industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineer to work on a highly automated site, supporting the maintenance and performance of advanced warehouse automation systems.

The Role

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a range of automated equipment and ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on automated equipment

Responding to breakdowns and carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding

Troubleshooting faults on conveyors, automated cranes, lifts, robotics and control systems

Testing, repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical and automation equipment

Supporting the installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment

Prioritising and responding to reactive maintenance issues

Working with subcontractors, customers and project teams when required

Completing maintenance records and ensuring accurate documentation

Supporting continuous improvement activities to improve equipment reliability and performance

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety proceduresYou will be working with advanced automated warehouse and intralogistics equipment, which may include automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, robotics, cranes and associated control systems.

Working Hours

This role operates on a three-week rotating shift pattern with no night shifts:

Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Week 3: 2:00pm - 10:00pmYou will have two weekends off. When weekend work is required, overtime will be paid. Alternatively, you may choose to take time off in lieu during the week.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £41,500 per annum
