Site Manager

Site Manager required in Central London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a commercial refurbishment project in Central London. Following the completion of said project, there may be opportunities for continuity on other projects with the company.

As a main contractor, they generally undertake high end projects within retail, commercial and residential that typically range in value from £250k - £3m.

* Scope: WC Improvements, office refurbishment, staircase decoration

* Rate: £280pd

* Start Date: 5th October

* Location: Central London

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

* Monitor and manage all works to ensure quality of workmanship is of the highest standard

* Work alongside the commercial team to ensure the project is delivered successfully

* Management, control and mitigation of all risks relating to site activities

* Maintain accurate and timely project documentation

* Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities

* Maintain strong relationships with the client and consultant team

* Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times

* Deliver the project to programme and quality expectations

The Site Manager must have/be:

* Very client-facing

* Excellent communication skills

* Proven experience delivering high end projects

* Strong background working for a main contractor

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Site Management

* Ability to oversee day-today operations and subcontractors

* Strong health & safety awareness

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
