Job Description & Scope We are partnering with a dynamic and innovative system integration business to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. This company is highly regarded for developing cutting-edge, automated data acquisition, test, measurement, and control systems for a diverse range of industries including aerospace, energy, and healthcare. Joining the system integration team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and build of bespoke control systems and instrument racks. The role provides an opportunity to deliver turnkey solutions in a fast-paced environment, working closely with software, systems, and project teams to ensure technical excellence, robust compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Requirements Knowledge. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Knowledge of CE/UKCA marking and relevant safety directives (e.g., IEC 60204, BS EN 61010, BS EN 61508) is highly beneficial. Experience. Strong practical background backed by the ability to design electrical and electronic systems. Extensive experience with EPLAN (or alternative schematic tools like AutoCAD Electrical / SolidWorks Electrical) is essential. Commissioning. This role involves travelling up to 50% of the year. Proven hands-on experience in the on-site installation, debugging, and commissioning of electrical systems. Hardware.
