Clinical Trial Manager

Job Description

Discover International is partnered with a UK-based CRO is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the operational delivery of Phase I–IV clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors, managing cross-functional teams and study timelines from start-up through close-out.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standardsLine-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performanceServe as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalationDevelop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plansEnsure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPsLead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activitiesChair internal and sponsor study team meetingsSkills & ExperienceLife sciences degree (or equivalent experience)4+ years in clinical trial management within a CRO, pharma, or biotech settingProven line management/mentoring experienceStrong knowledge of ICH-GCP, UK/EU trial regulations, and risk-based monitoringExperience managing study budgets and vendorsExperience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials
