Overview

Role: Rubrik IT Engineer – Rubrik Backup and Hybrid Cloud Protection

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Duration: 3 Months +

Clearance: SC or eligible for clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, optimisation, and administration of Rubrik clusters across hybrid environments.
• Ensure comprehensive backup coverage for physical servers, virtualised platforms, Azure workloads, and Office 365 tenants.
• Conduct regular resilience reviews and steer corrective actions.
• Own backup policies, SLAs, retention schedules, immutability controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Perform routine health checks, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Respond to backup and restore incidents and complete root cause analysis.
• Oversee patching, upgrades, and feature enablement.
• Maintain documentation of backup architectures and DR processes.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
• Support audits, projects, and initiatives requiring backup expertise.
• Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience protecting Azure and Office 365 workloads through Rubrik.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and governance understanding.
• Experience with other enterprise backup suites.

Qualifications

• Rubrik certifications or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Azure or Office 365 certifications.
