Maintain accurate records and complete service reports, providing regular progress updates to management.
Assist in minor upgrading and adaptation works as required.
Collaborate with other skilled trades to facilitate maintenance, repairs, testing, and installation activities.
Undertake training to enhance and maintain skills in line with service requirements.
Act as a Competent or Authorised Person as directed and appointed.
Liaise and undertake duties at other healthcare projects as assigned.
Be available for overtime as needed to ensure service continuity.
Perform any other duties as required, commensurate with grade.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified time-served engineer with a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential; cross-trade experience is advantageous.
Excellent understanding of maintenance practices and procedures.
Ability to lead and manage a small shift team effectively.
Strong technical skills across various building services.
Commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
