Survey Engineer

Key Result Areas: Working under the direction of the Workshop Supervisors and Workshop Manager.
Maintaining highest standards of safety, ensuring adherence to Company HSE Policies at all times. To ensure all equipment has full test procedures that are regularly revised as and when required.
Following Company procedures relating to the testing, maintenance and calibration of Company rental equipment ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. The calibration and maintenance of test equipment ensuring all test equipment is in satisfactory working order at all times. Updating maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and test equipment.
Updating the status or rental assets, job reports etc. on Company asset tracking system.
Maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop. Working closely with vendors ensuring timely arrival of spare parts order / workshop stock.
Communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer.
Undertaking manufacturer training courses as and when required.
Required to work off site undertaking mobilizations on vessel in port around UK as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Previous relevant Survey Engineering experience at a similar level.
• Flexible approach to tasks and roles.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
QHSE Responsibilities:
• To consistently work to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards applicable to Unique System and to assist in the development and improvement of such standards.
• Comply with Unique Group’s QHSE Management System.
• Promote a positive QHSE culture in the workplace
