This is a leadership role focused on delivering operational excellence, safety culture transformation, and long-term asset performance.ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of building & civils inspection, maintenance, and renewalsDevelop and implement annual business plans aligned with safety, compliance, and budget targetsDrive cultural transformation in safety and engineering assuranceEnsure compliance with standards, CDM regulations, and the Engineering Management PlanLead and develop a skilled, competent, and flexible engineering teamCollaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to innovate and improve performanceCreate and implement weather resilience and system integration strategiesQualificationsDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering + relevant professional qualificationStrong technical experience in infrastructure inspections and maintenanceProven leadership and communication skillsFull UK Driving LicenceHigh-level proficiency in Microsoft Office toolsExperience with Enterprise Asset Management SystemsBackground in railway operations or safety-critical engineering rolesYou’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our infrastructure, working on essential projects that make a difference in people’s lives every day.
