This role will be part of the Bars Team of The Emory, which encompasses two unique bars. Bar 33 has an unparalleled 360-degree view of the capital, the hotels spectacular rooftop will be the jewel in its crown an entirely private, sweeping space dedicated to hotel guests only designed by Remi Tessier. The Emory Bar, a welcoming contemporary space to enjoy cocktails, coffee and a selection of dishes from our restaurant, abc kitchens. Featuring mid-century inspired decor in a warm, inviting palette, the bar flows naturally into our Courtyard where the tables are framed by a sprawling-stained glass piece by acclaimed artist, Brian Clarke.
The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers,The Emorywill be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.
As a Bars Supervisor you are responsible for the seamless running of the department by developing the team to provide excellent guest services. You will be attending meetings in absence of Bar Manager and Assistant Manager; you will also make sure all standards and procedures are followed at all times.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Attend meetings in absence of Assistant Manager and Manager.
Ensure all bar mis-en-place are correctly set for service including bar layout and menus.
Have complete knowledge of the menu, wine list and spirits, and be able to advise guests suitably.
Report anyone or anything suspicious immediately to the Security Manager or Duty Manager.
Liaise closely with the kitchen regarding food available daily in order to maximise sales and ensure timely deliveries of orders.
Consistently deliver excellent LQA and Forbes standard levels of service to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external customers.
Successful candidates for the Bars Supervisor opportunity will demonstrate genuine dedication to The Emory and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
