No exceptions.I'm supporting a growing managed security services provider that is looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer to lead the deployment and configuration of security platforms across its customer base.You'll be the technical lead in front of customers, taking them from initial design through to cutover, then supporting them as the environment beds in. This is a hands-on role, and you'll build deep, expert-level knowledge of the platforms you deploy.The roleConfigure and deploy security solutions into customer environmentsMigrate customers from their existing tooling onto the new platformAnalyse platform logs to troubleshoot and identify issuesWork with vendor technical support teams to resolve casesDeliver against agreed project scope, on timeProduce technical documentation and diagrams for each engagementProvide out of hours support where needed for cutovers and maintenanceWhat they are looking forEssential:UK-based with active SC clearance, or eligible for itAt least three years of current experience deploying, configuring and maintaining at least two of the following stacks:Palo Alto XSOAR, XDR or XSIAMPalo Alto Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, IoT Security and NGFWsGoogle SecOps SIEM and SOARMicrosoft Defender and SentinelExperience deploying and supporting cloud, network and security technologiesPython scripting, including writing and debugging codeSolid understanding of Windows, Linux and macOS, networking fundamentals, and identity technologies such as Entra IDClear written and spoken English, and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical clientsNice to have:MSSP or MDR experienceSIEM or SOAR deployment and support experienceGoogle Cloud, Azure or AWS experienceSecurity Operations background
