Data Engineer
6 Month Contract
Location: Home / Malvern (onsite 3 days a week)
Rate: £550 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Data Engineer for a leading technology consultancy to join a long-term Central Government programme supporting a major Defence digital transformation initiative.
This is a hands-on data engineering role working across a broad and evolving technology landscape, with a strong focus on building, developing and supporting modern data solutions within a secure environment.
The current platform is expected to be primarily AWS , with a planned migration towards Google Secure Cloud , so this would suit someone comfortable working across cloud-based data platforms and adapting to changing technical environments.
This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work onsite in Malvern 3 days a week.
Key skills and experience:
Strong Python development skills
Strong SQL
Experience with Databricks
Cloud-based data engineering experience
Building and maintaining data pipelines
Data transformation, processing and integration
Working with large and complex datasets
Experience delivering scalable and reliable data solutions
Comfortable working in secure, regulated or government environments
