Client: BAE SystemsJob Type: ContractJob Title: Lead Software EngineerLocation: Cowes - Isle of WightHourly Rate: £54.57 PAYE OR £73.68 Umbrella inside IR35Duration: 6 monthsWorking Arrangements: Full-time on-siteKey ResponsibilitiesApply experience to design & develop sub-system solutions, resolve engineering issues and problems, and provide guidance to others for a range of software products as part of a 70 strong software team within the Products area of BAE SystemsProvide technical expertise across the software team for the ongoing maintenance of software that is part of the naval radars that are in service with the Royal Navy on multiple platformsProvide technical expertise across the software team for the requirements, design, implementation, testing and verification of the software subsystems on Naval radarsSkills & RequirementsCandidate must have sole UK nationality due to the clearances required on this specific projectExtensive experience of using at least one high level programming language - Knowledge of Ada95 is highly desirableExperience using UMLHaving worked within defence or another regulated industry is highly desirableAbout BAEBAE Systems is a leading global defence, aerospace, and security company.
