Job Description

We're looking for driven and pragmatic product-minded software engineers, who care about user experience and have experience of scaling consumer applications - in particular of ensuring a consistently great experience for users regardless of what device they're on.

About Flok

More than a billion people a year suffer unnecessarily from conditions like MSK pain, where the right treatment approach is well-established but undeliverable at scale. We're changing that. Our team has deep expertise across clinical, engineering, and regulated AI, has a track record of healthtech innovation, and is backed by top VCs and multiple unicorn founder angels.

If you like:

Solving hard problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare

The pursuit of excellence—helping each other to do the best work of our careers

Working in an in-person collaborative environment

Taking ownership to have significant impact in a fast-growing mission-driven company with big ambitions

Then you'll fit right in!

What You'll Do Your day-to-day work will be impactful and varied, including:

Building new product features (full-stack, with frontend focus)

Designing non-functional app features (e.g. offline support, improving observability)

Contributing to technical roadmap planning

Working with product/UX to iterate on the app design and requirements

Participating in bug triage/diagnosis and incident investigations

Improving test coverage of the app (especially across a variety of user devices)

Making data driven decisions about app changes

You'll collaborate closely with the rest of the engineering / UX team, work directly with company leadership, and see the impact of your work on real patients.

About You You have strong programming skills (ideally in TypeScript / Python) and experience of full stack web development

You enjoy working with design and product teams to help shape exceptional products

You care deeply about your users - championing great experience and access to quality clinical care
