Production Planner

Job Description

A market-leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced

Production Planner

to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong

Production or Manufacturing Planner

with extensive

ERP/MRP experience

who can quickly adapt to

EFACS . The role offers scope for

operational ownership, continuous improvement and leadership development

within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Role Working closely with the Sales Planning team and Production Manager, you will coordinate production activities to ensure resources, stock and work orders are aligned with sales demand and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate production requirements in line with sales demand

Create and issue work orders to relevant departments

Allocate stock against work orders

Monitor production schedules and identify potential underproduction or overproduction

Identify planning issues and propose practical solutions

Support improvements to production planning processes

Assist with the implementation of new systems and workflows

Ensure planning processes are clearly defined and ready for system go-live

What We Are Looking For Strong experience in

Production or Manufacturing Planning

Extensive experience using

ERP/MRP systems

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to

EFACS

Strong

Microsoft Excel

skills

Experience in an

ISO 9001:2015-certified

or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment

Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritise effectively and work accurately under pressure

Strong communication skills across different levels of the organisation

Resilient and adaptable approach

Desirable Previous

EFACS

experience

Knowledge of

Lean Manufacturing principles
