Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

MERITUS are recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer to work a hybrid contract for our client based in Portsmouth as they continue growing their practice. The role will require 3 days a week onsite and 2 days WFH.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £60 PER HOUR - C++ - 6 MONTHS INITIALLY - PORTSMOUTH - 3 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE - 37 HOURS A WEEK - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS - MUST HAVE SC CLEARANCE

  • Security clearance required on application
  • Experience programming Embedded Systems using C/C++
  • Experience of bare-metal and embedded Linux environments
  • Experience of linux device drivers including DMA, Interrupts, and Device Trees
  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Radio
