Duration: Temporary for 3 months

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our lifting division. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our manufacturing and lifting equipment sales. The ideal candidate will have a background in lifting operations and a good understanding of LOLER regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee the management of the lifting division, including supervising core engineers, office staff, and operations.

Monitor and manage the division manager's emails and ensure all communications are handled promptly.

Understand and streamline division processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.

Coordinate with lifting engineers who perform loading expansions and other field operations.

Oversee the buying and selling of lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in lifting operations, ideally within a similar industry.

Familiarity with LOLER regulations and their application in a practical environment.

Experience in managing a team and overseeing operational processes.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Health and Safety awareness; NEBOSH certification is advantageous but not required.
