Technical Manager

Our client is a Waltham Abbey based and growing residential developer with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality new homes. Typically between 40 - 100 units per annum.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the technical delivery of a number of residential developments.The successful candidate will manage projects from pre-acquisition and planning through to construction and completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.The RoleManaging the technical delivery of multiple residential developmentsCoordinating architects, engineers, consultants and other design teamsReviewing and managing technical drawings, specifications and design informationSupporting the planning, pre-construction and procurement processEnsuring designs are technically compliant, buildable and commercially viableIdentifying and resolving technical issues throughout the construction processWorking closely with Construction, Commercial and Development teamsManaging design programmes and ensuring information is issued on timeSupporting the delivery of high-quality homes in line with company standardsAbout YouWe are looking for a technically strong Technical Manager with experience within residential development or housebuilding.Strong technical knowledge of residential constructionExperience managing consultants and design teamsGood understanding of building regulations, NHBC and technical standardsExcellent communication and organisational skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesA commercially aware and proactive approachThis is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and expanding residential developer where you will have genuine responsibility and the opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of their developments.
