You'll be working across a range of secure, high-impact programmes, building and owning the pipelines and platforms that sit underneath some genuinely complex client work, not just maintaining someone else's build.What you'll be doingBuilding and maintaining data pipelines end-to-end, from ingestion through to consumptionWorking with modern approaches like lakehouse and medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold)Building both batch and streaming pipelines depending on the use caseContributing to decisions around storage, orchestration, governance and security, not just executing a predefined designWorking with data architects and stakeholders to turn business requirements into solid technical buildsOperating in secure, regulated environments where attention to detail and sound judgement matterTech environmentAWS across the board, including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation and KinesisDatabricks and Snowflake running on top of AWSSpark and distributed processing frameworks for large-scale dataStreaming technologies such as Kinesis or KafkaWhat they're looking forActive DV Clearance, must already be heldMid to senior level Data Engineers, hands-on with AWSSolid understanding of modern data patterns, lakehouse, medallion, streamingExperience building pipelines and platform components at scaleComfortable working alongside architects, clients and other engineers, not just heads down in isolationA practical mindset, someone who makes sensible trade-offs rather than over-engineeringInterested?If you hold active DV Clearance and want a role where you can build real data platforms across secure programmes, it's worth a conversation.
