Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Architect Technical to work as part of our IT team. As a Data Architect Technical, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture for our organization. You will have a strong understanding of data integration best practices and will play a key role in driving successful data integration and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall Solution:
o Over 15 years of IT experience and over 7 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing and maintaining an End to End Data system for a Banking/ Financial or a large corporation in a Cloud Environment
o Communicate and Analyse requirements from the Customers and project stakeholders and then, effectively interact with the team-members to come up a design to meet those current and future requirements.
2. Design Data Infrastructure:
o Identify internal and external data sources relevant to the project for the project in a Cloud Environment.
o Collaborate with department heads to determine data storage and organizational needs for designing, building a cloud Data Warehouse
3. Integration with Data Sources:
o Architect, Design and Develop data pipelines to ingest different types of data formats – Unstructured/Semi/Structured including Streaming data.
o Design and Develop Data Pipelines for ensuring Reliability and Scalability
o Coordinate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines.
4. Database Design:
o Design every aspect of the database, including schema, tables, and relationships.
o Develop Concept Maps and ER Diagrams for database modeling.
o Transform data throughout its lifecycle using SQL, XML, etc.
5. Data Security and Compliance:
o Implement systems to keep data secure.
o Regularly audit the database to maintain data quality.
o Ensure compliance with data security standards.
6. Advanced Visualization and Communication:
o Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
o Exhibit advanced visualization skills for data models and logical workflows.
7. Continuous Improvement:
o Analyze performance metrics and propose improvements.
o Provide resolution to data pipeline challenges.
8. Cloud Data Technologies:
o Work with Cloud Infrastructure Architects to create data security, backup, disaster recovery, and archiving strategies.
o Advocate for adoption of Cloud Data technologies and industry best practices.
9. Thought Leadership:
o Provide forward-thinking insights on organizational direction and technology support.
10. Mentoring:
o Act as a coach and mentor to team members and technical staff.
Qualifications:
• Master’s /Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Proven experience as a cloud Data Architect in the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in database design, SQL, and data modelling for Cloud Data Warehouse
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to interact with the cloud.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
