Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The company has a fantastic new job opportunity for a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical fault-finding, mechanical maintenance and manufacturing plant experience.

SALARY: Up to £49,511 per annum + Paid Overtime Opportunities + Benefits

LOCATION: Birch Vale, High Peak (with travel to Stalybridge site as required)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday with Overtime Available

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, continuous improvement and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in helping ensure the reliability, efficiency and safety of production equipment across the organisation’s manufacturing operations.

The Maintenance Engineer will respond to plant breakdowns, deliver planned preventative maintenance, support site improvement projects and help improve equipment uptime across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer include:

Breakdown Response: Respond promptly and effectively to equipment and plant breakdowns

Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across production equipment

Planned Maintenance: Deliver planned preventative maintenance activities

Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve equipment reliability and uptime

Plant Systems: Maintain pumps, pipework, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Machinery Inspections: Inspect machinery and plant to identify potential issues before failures occur
