We are a Top 20 Great Place to Work and are proud of our incredible people, our unique values-led culture and our iconic market leading brands such as LINDOR & GOLD BUNNY.We’re also proud of being one of the few bean-to-bar chocolate makers in the world, where we control every step of our chocolate production.How you could help us to Enchant the World with ChocolateWe have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.In this role you will …Support the store management team in motivating, inspiring and developing a team of dedicated chocolate advisors, towards the accomplishment of the retail planContribute to the operational excellence and financial performance of a store in the Lindt UK retail division, using responsible business practices and adhering to all company policiesEmbody the Lindt brand with passion and be part of a team of Lindt brand ambassadors who are experts at delivering the Lindt Service proposition and exceeding customer expectations every dayActively support an environment of collaboration through sharing knowledge, information and encouraging teamwork to drive ideas to actionWhere you’ll be basedThis role is based in Leeds Store and is 20 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesMaximising Sales Turnover and Store Profitability to Grow and Drive the Business ForwardUse provided business tools, along with good personal judgement, to drive and exceed store sales and profit targetsTrack store KPI’s and support the store management team to identify opportunities and risks, supporting a clear course of actionAlign with line manager on action plans from store performance reviewsCollaborate with store management team on opportunities for key trading periodsDelivering and Developing Operational ExcellenceContribute to a self-disciplined culture focused on flawless execution of processes, procedures, and initiatives including consistent delivery of presentation standards in storeMaintain awareness of audit and loss prevention controls, delivering full compliance in all areas including inventory, cash reconciliation, deliveries etc.Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedure, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for allEscalate issues to the store management team when necessary in a timely mannerDelivering Outstanding Premium Visibility and Communication with our CustomersBecome an expert brand ambassador in delivering the Lindt Service proposition by living the values and personally contributing to a customer centric-cultureEmbrace the Global Retail Mystery shop program, using the results to recognise strengths and share best practiceMaintain monthly visual merchandising plan to company standardStay informed of current trends and contribute to weekly Competitor Watch of the local market placeUnderstand and actively anticipate consumer needs and go the extra mile to delight customersLeading for an Inspiring Place to WorkTake responsibility for developing your own skills and capability and support a learning cultureCollaborate with line manager in order to achieve your own agreed PDP objectivesParticipate in monthly 1-2-1s with your Line Manager to guide your own performanceWork with line manager to resolve personal performance issues in a timely mannerAlign with line manager on action plans from personal performance reviewsWhat experience you’ll bringProven experience within a retail organisation is preferable, as is a genuine love of all that a career in retail has to offerProven track record of delivering performance at a high level within a teamNumerate with good analytical and IT skillsA highly motivated self-starter, with a drive for resultsExcellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships internally and externallyAn infectious can do attitude – ready to try new things and enthuse everyone you meetBeing yourself every dayWe want everyone at Lindt feel safe to be themselves, ensuring they are empowered, represented, celebrated and included in our workplace.
