Description
Accounts Assistant
Ensure all employee expenses are checked, processed and posted to SAGE.
Ensure corporate credit card statements are sent to the relevant employee
Carry out bank reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Contribute to the improvement of financial procedures
Work collaboratively with the accounting and finance team
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
An academic background in accounting, finance or related field
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
An ability to work effectively in a team
