Job Description
Kindred are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to be based in an educational building located in: Leighton Buzzard.
Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 16:00-18:00
Location: Brooklands Dr, Leighton Buzzard LU7 3PF
Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
About The Role
Responsibilities:
General Cleaning Tasks:
Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
Specialist & Deep Cleaning:
Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.
Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
Teamwork & Independence:
Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
