SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Job purpose:
To develop, manage and deliver electrical engineering solutions with a professionally managed level of risk to meet allocated baseline, project and technical lead responsibilities within assigned budgets and timescales. The functions of this role are varied and include design of LV and MV systems, PLC and HMI programming, plant design, etc. This role would suit an engineer with an electrical design background, preferably in the power generation or large rotating equipment industries or a specialist in HMI’s and PLC’s.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide electrical technical support and guidance - To provide engineering advice and solutions for assigned baseline and project related tasks across all product types.
* On time/On budget delivery of allocated electrical projects/assignments
* Maintenance of electrical baseline designs and documentation
* Interfacing with customers and suppliers on a technical level

Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will work as part of an experienced engineering team based in the South West, contributing to the design and development of complex industrial equipment and integrated electrical and control systems.
The role will involve working across both established product platforms and customer-specific projects, providing electrical engineering expertise from concept and design through to verification, validation, manufacture, commissioning and customer support.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be technically accountable to the Engineering Manager through the Principal Electrical Engineer.
Where required, the Senior Electrical Engineer may undertake activities normally associated with Principal Engineer or Engineer responsibilities, with appropriate support provided where necessary.

Key Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* A minimum of 5 years relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
