Key responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner / Project Accountant will include:-
Supporting the Professional Services arm of the business which include SBD and Developments / Capital Programme ensuring funding drawdowns and WIP is accounted for correctly
Responsible for the associated balance sheet reconciliations and Capital budgets along with reporting salary related cost recovery, calculation and monitoring of charge out day rates and ensure margins are reported with cost recovery analysis
The investment reporting, dividends, sub debt balances/accrued interest and director fees.
This post will also be responsible for project/ad-hoc related Management Accounts tasks.
As a member of the wider team the post holder will also be required to assist in other daily property finance functions as required and will provide cover in the event of other Management Accountants being on leave
Qualifications/Knowledge & Application:
Essential
Partly/fully qualified accountant, with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant commercial management accounting experience from within a Time Billing environment (Professional Services, Project Accounting experience or similar)
Good analytical & stakeholder management skills
Competent excel user (Pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
Evidence of on-going continuous professional development.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively and apply concentrated effort to deliver results on time.
High level numeracy and literacy.
Ability to pay rigorous attention to detail.
Able to readily understand new and complex subjects.
