We are on the hunt for a passionate, creative Head Chef to join the pre-opening team for a new all-day and late-night venue concept arriving in East London in June.

The role:
We are looking for someone special to lead the team in our flagship 60-seat, live-fire restaurant. As Head Chef , you will lead us into the grand opening and play a significant role in recruiting the team, helping shape the menu offering, defining operating procedures and will have real input in this exciting new venue. This is a role for someone with creative flair, with strong leadership skills, who is passionate not just about food and drink, but also where it meets wider culture.
This is the perfect role for an accomplished chef looking to take the next step in their career, someone who will relish the opportunity to make their mark and help launch this new concept in London, ideally someone who has experience cooking over fire.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative restaurant team, and supported by our venue operations team, you will organise and control the kitchen operations of our restaurant ensuring our customers receive the best possible dining experience, your role will be pivotal in the continued development of this.
Who we are searching for:
Highly skilled Head Chef with extensive experience in a premium restaurant, ideally cooking with open fire.
Inspiring team leader who can develop and engage their team to deliver world-class dishes and remarkable experiences for our guests
You can produce creative, costed menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and prime cuts of meat & fish
Monitor production efficiently and professionally with the ability to identify and drive process improvements as we shape this concept.
You will have a solid understanding of COGs, costings, and financial reporting
Working with the Executive Chef, continually creating and refining our offering, menu development and innovation
Exceptional organisational and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset and an eye for detail
Experience in a high-volume kitchen
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment
Diplomas and certificates in the culinary arts are desired
Strong computer skills and familiarity with GP, health and safety, labour and rotas, allergens, equipment maintenance and auditing

Starting salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
