Due to rapid growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Technical Engineering department, for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team.
The Mechanical Engineer will report to the Technical Director and will have the following key responsibilities:
in accordance with internal technical engineering design procedures.
that technical engineering work is completed to all relevant internal and external procedures & processes.
and implementing opportunities for improvement and innovation in the mechanical engineering processes and practices.
mechanical engineering work of engineers and subcontractors.
in accordance with Company working practices, to conduct activities in accordance with the HSEQS requirements and to meet all legal obligations.
The Mechanical Engineer is expected to improve the work processes and be a technical governance for the discipline. The scope will include studies and tenders as well as live projects.
Key Tasks:
conceptual and detailed design of mechanical systems and components for offshore projects including trenching asset and vessel equipment.
calculations, simulations, and testing to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of the mechanical design.
technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and reports.
the mechanical engineering work of other engineers and subcontractors.
technical support and troubleshooting for the installation, commissioning, and operation of the mechanical systems and components.
and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation in the mechanical engineering processes and practices.
Key Behaviours:

Essential Qualifications:
Post Graduate Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
